Takeout anyone? Grundy Museum makes it easy, inviting old and new friends to its June 4th Second Annual Takeout Lunch, a “CanDoMore” fundraiser. Proceeds benefit Library STEM technology and Museum textile conservation projects.
Monday, May 16 through Tuesday, May 31, reservations for our boxed Takeout Lunch packages can be purchased. Offered are two adult choices at $30 each, created separately and especially for Grundy by the King George II Inn and Bristol’s own Chef Sue Duffy Arroyo.
The Take-Out Lunch options include:
"King George’s Lunch" - The King George II Inn lunch features Chef Fabian’s finest selection of Italian meats and cheese topped with the KGII signature white balsamic dressing on seeded Italian bread. Included is a side of the KGII signature house salad.
"Wrap Up Your Greens Lunch " - A vegetarian lunch created by Chef Sue Duffy Arroyo featuring grilled veggies in a wrap topped with hummus and baby spinach. Included is a homemade hummus cup with raw veggies and a Vegan Summer Quinoa Salad. Both choices include bottled water, fruit, a crunchy snack and a special sweet treat.
Enjoy your lunch in our backyard! Our Museum and Library grounds offer some of the best views in Bristol. Bring your own chairs or a blanket and enjoy your lunch while you take in the scenery just as the Grundy family would have in their time.
Curbside pick-up times on the 4th are 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Visitation restrictions may apply due to on-going construction. Guests are encouraged to share their Takeout Lunch pictures on social media from the Grundy Park or wherever they dine.
When you check in at the Museum entrance present your ticket, and staff will be happy to see you and deliver your lunch.
Proceeds will benefit the Grundy Foundation CanDoMore Campaign 4, and will aid both the Library and the Museum. Thank you for your past and present support. We could not do it without you!
